SANDBLASTING WITH POLYMER COAT GLASS

Sandblasted glass is a type of glass that has been treated with a high-pressure stream of sand or other abrasive material to create a frosted, opaque, or translucent surface. The sandblasting process involves shooting fine particles at the surface of the glass to wear away the surface layer, leaving behind a smooth, matte finish. Sandblasting is one of the most used techniques for glass decoration as well as to ensure privacy in public and private environments. The sandblasted surface, becoming porous, tends to capture fingerprints and impurities, with unsightly results. The polymer coating formula is the result of an innovative technology which creates filler that prevents the adhesion of dirt, lime scale, fingerprints and impurities that tend to deposit into the microspores created by the sandblasting process. There are different levels of sandblasting that can be applied to the glass, ranging from light etching to deep carving.

The level of sandblasting applied will affect the level of transparency or opacity of the glass, as well as the level of detail that can be achieved in the design. Sandblasted glass is a versatile and durable material that can be used in a variety of applications. It offers a range of benefits, including improved privacy, light diffusion, and aesthetic appeal.
